Apple Scheduled to launch iPad Pro in India next week.

apple iPad ProMajor tech giant Apple is all set to launch their latest iPad model iPad Pro in India next week. Apple will announce the official India price for its large new iPad by next week.

There are many other reporting the prices of the upcoming iPad Pro. It claims the Wi-Fi only 32GB model will have a starting price of Rs.67,900 and the 128GB model with 4G LTE connectivity will cost as much as Rs.91,900, which is a shade less than the 13-inch MacBook Pro Retina Display. The Wi-Fi only 128GB model will cost Rs.79,990.

Sources claim that to encourage enterprises to use the new tablet in corporate environments that Apple is working with IBM for a 3 year leasing programme where the companies give away the tablet to its employees with all of IBM cloud applications.

Last year Apple CEO Tim Cook inked a deal with IBM for the use of the iPad in the enterprise.

The iPad Pro is being touted as a productivity tool for designers and creative professionals. Its 12.9-inch screen has a sharp resolution of 2048 x 2732 pixels. It runs the A9X processor, which is even faster than the processor on the new iPhone 6S and Apple claims it delivers PC class performance when used in tandem with the onboard 4GB RAM.

It also comes with a 8-megapixel camera on the back and a 1.2-megapixel camera on the front and also the Touch ID fingerprint scanner.

Apple will also release the Apple Pencil stylus and the new smart keyboard accessory for the iPad Pro. At the moment there are no pricing details for them.

If it goes on sale in January, the iPad Pro will go head on with Microsoft's Surface Pro 4 tablet/laptop hybrid. The Surface Pro 4 was announced in October, a month after the iPad Pro's official unveil and it runs on Windows 10 and runs on Intel's latest Skylake CPU with support for millions of x86 applications, something the iPad can't run. It also comes with an upgraded Type Keyboard, which offers a laptop like typing experience.
