EdgeX Foundry is an open source project that offers an interoperable platform and ecosystem of plug-and-play components to unify the IoT edge computing marketplace. Beechwoods, an active member of EdgeX Foundry, has integrated EdgeX on the AMD Ryzen� Embedded platform and will be supporting AMD customers for their IoT Gateway and Edge Computing software.

EdgeX Foundry is now part of LF Edge, a recently launched umbrella organization to establish an open, interoperable framework for edge computing independent of hardware, silicon, cloud, or operating system.
