Beechwoods Software to Showcase IoT Edge Open Platform at Embedded World

Nuremberg, Germany, February 26, 2019 –(PR.com)– Beechwoods Software, Inc. will be demonstrating the EdgeX Foundry open source framework on the AMD Ryzen™ Embedded V1000 processor family.

Beechwoods Software (Beechwoods), a leading supplier of software technology and services for IoT with deep domain knowledge of embedded systems, will be showcasing EdgeX inside the AMD booth (booth #1-360) at Embedded World. EdgeX Foundry is an open source project that offers an interoperable platform and ecosystem of plug-and-play components to unify the IoT edge computing marketplace. Beechwoods, an active member of EdgeX Foundry, has integrated EdgeX on the AMD Ryzen™ Embedded platform and will be supporting AMD customers for their IoT Gateway and Edge Computing software.

EdgeX Foundry is now part of LF Edge, a recently launched umbrella organization to establish an open, interoperable framework for edge computing independent of hardware, silicon, cloud, or operating system.
