CA Foundation Result September 2026: Expected Date, Check Link, and Latest Update

The CA Foundation Result September 2026 is expected to be announced soon by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Education news outlets including NDTV, The Times of India, and Education Times report that the September session result is imminent, and that scorecards will be available on the ICAI’s official result portal at caresults.icai.org. No confirmed declaration date is stated in the coverage reviewed, so candidates should treat the result as forthcoming and watch the official website for the formal announcement.

What is the latest update on the CA Foundation September 2026 result?

Multiple education publications are carrying the same theme: the CA Foundation result for the September 2026 examination is “expected soon.” NDTV’s coverage frames the story around an expected date and a direct link to download the result, while Education Times similarly headlines that the September 2026 result is expected soon with further details available. EduProspect reports that ICAI is to announce the September session results shortly on caresults.icai.org.

Related September session news is also moving. Careers360’s live coverage headline reports that the CA Inter Result September 2026 is already out, with the result link hosted at caresults.icai.org and toppers to be published. This suggests the Foundation result may follow in the same release window, although the sequence has not been formally announced in the coverage available.

When will the CA Foundation Result September 2026 be declared?

The honest answer is that a confirmed date has not been published in the reporting available. Every headline reviewed describes the result as upcoming rather than declaring a specific day. Based on this, candidates should:

• Bookmark caresults.icai.org, the official ICAI result portal named in multiple headlines.
• Watch for a formal ICAI press note, which the Institute has historically used to announce result dates.
• Cross-check any specific date circulating on social media against an official ICAI notification before relying on it.

Where can candidates check the CA Foundation September 2026 result?

The official result destination repeatedly referenced across the reporting is caresults.icai.org. This is the ICAI’s dedicated results domain, separate from its main corporate website. Because third-party pages may carry outdated or misleading information, the official portal remains the authoritative source for your scorecard and for any accompanying announcements.

What details will you need to check the result?

Although the headlines do not list the exact login fields, the ICAI result portal has conventionally required candidates to provide:

1. Their registration number, and where applicable the roll number printed on the admit card.
2. The captcha or security code displayed on the result page.
3. For SMS-based result services, the candidate’s registered mobile number, as offered on the result day.

Keeping the admit card for the September 2026 examination handy while checking the result is the safest approach, since these identification details are printed on it.

Is the CA Foundation September 2026 result out yet?

Not according to the headlines reviewed. The consistent wording is that the result is expected soon, while only the companion CA Inter Result September 2026 is described as out in Careers360’s live coverage. Until ICAI publishes an official declaration, candidates should consider the Foundation result pending and rely on caresults.icai.org for confirmation.

How to check and download the CA Foundation September 2026 result

Once declared, the result-download process on caresults.icai.org is expected to follow the standard ICAI flow:

• Step 1: Open caresults.icai.org in a web browser.
• Step 2: Click the link corresponding to the CA Foundation September 2026 result.
• Step 3: Enter your registration or roll number and the displayed security code.
• Step 4: Submit the form to view your scorecard on screen.
• Step 5: Download the scorecard as a PDF and take a printout for your records.

Because traffic on result day is typically heavy, it is worth trying again after a short interval if the page loads slowly, and checking whether ICAI’s SMS result service is offered alongside the online option.

What happens after the CA Foundation September 2026 result?

The CA Foundation is the entry-level examination of the Chartered Accountancy curriculum. Candidates who qualify generally move on to register for the CA Intermediate course, the next stage of the program. As background context — not drawn from the September 2026 headlines — ICAI’s long-standing passing criteria for the Foundation examination requires a minimum of 40% in each paper and 50% in aggregate. Your official scorecard will show marks that can be matched against these thresholds.

Candidates who do not qualify in the September 2026 attempt should consult ICAI’s official guidance on re-appearance and next steps rather than relying on unofficial summaries of the rules.

What should I do if the ICAI result website is down?

High traffic on declaration day can slow down or temporarily block the official portal. In that situation, wait a few minutes and reload the page, avoid repeatedly re-entering credentials, and use only caresults.icai.org — not mirror or aggregator sites — once the portal recovers.

Until ICAI’s formal notice appears, the best preparation is practical: keep your admit card and registration number ready, save the official link, and verify every claim about result dates against the Institute’s own announcements.
