DUBLIN–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The “Regulatory Report: China – Heated Tobacco, Nicotine Pouches and Snus” report has been added to ResearchAndMarkets.com’s offering.
Following the opening of the first heated tobacco experience store by the Sichuan local tobacco administration in June 2020, we expect to see a slow approval of retail.
This would most probably happen through the initiatives led by the Chinese State Tobacco Monopoly (also known as China National Tobacco Corporation, or China Tobacco) which will maintain its protectionist attitude at least for the next few years.
Regulation of nicotine pouches does not seem to be a priority at present, however should the product become more popular it could be regulated by the state monopoly.
