A step towards talent improvement: online art and writing contest sponsored by Celebrating Art and Creative Communication respectively for over 20 years. Online PR News 04-June-2019 For over 20 years Creative Communication and CelebratingArt have sponsored free art and poetry contests. Students in grades K-12 can enter art in the contest and grades K-9 can enter the poetry contests. Entries of merit are published and the Top ten winners in each grade division receive a complimentary copy of the anthology and a $25 award. Creative Communication works to motivate students who excel in art and writing. Over the past 20 years over $1 million dollars has granted to students, teachers and schools to encourage student art and writing. Both the art and poetry contests have three deadlines (Spring, Summer and Fall) to enter the competition. Top entries are invited to be published. Teachers earn points when students participate. These points can be redeemed for Amazon and Blick Art Material gift cards. Teachers also receive a free book with their students work when five or more students are published in the contest. This is not a contest that publishes every entry. The philosophy of the contest is to be selective enough so that is an honor to be accepted to publish, but not so exclusive that it is discouraging to enter. Teachers have used our company to motivate students in creative activities. Our company creates a permanent record of student work that would be lost in a backpack or closet. Being a published poet or artist is a resume item and is a question on the ACT test in determining students extracurricular activities. Complete rules to enter the contest can be seen online for the art contest and writing contest. There is no cost to enter the contest or any required purchase to be published. Students can enter on their own, or teachers can enter entire classes. For any further information visit online or contact tiffani@poeticpower.com or call +1 (435) 713-4411 |
