(NASDAQ:PLAY), (the “Company"), announced today that the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, as amended, applicable to the Company’s pending acquisition of Main Event from owners Ardent Leisure Group and RedBird Capital Partners expired at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time, on May 18, 2022.
The acquisition remains subject to the satisfaction or waiver of other conditions, including approval by the shareholders of Ardent Leisure Group (ASX: ALG).
