D�RR NDT Strengthens Software Division with New Subsidiary in Malaysia

Bietigheim-Bissingen, Germany, May 16, 2019 --(PR.com)-- D�RR NDT, one of the world's leading providers of non-destructive testing (NDT) systems for radiographic testing, inaugurated its new software development headquarters in Malaysia on April 2, 2019. With the new location and extended team of software developers, it will be possible to react even faster to the changing and constantly increasing demands of the NDT industry in the future.

Since the introduction of D�RR NDT's comprehensive X-ray inspection software D-Tect in 2006, it has quickly become one of the leading software programs for digital radiographic testing. Initially offered as part of a system with D�RR NDT�s imaging plate scanners, support for flat panel detectors followed soon after.

More than 40 customers and business partners from all over the world attended the grand opening. Nick D'Ademo, Head of Software Development, welcomed the guests and gave an outlook on the future of the software: "Faster data processing, more efficient evaluation tools and reporting, and a development philosophy centered on listening and responding to the needs of our customers in a rapid and agile way.�

Oliver Ruzek, Managing Director of D�RR NDT, said at the opening: "With the opening of our Kuala Lumpur office, we are continuing our strategy of focusing heavily on software for the NDT market in addition to our already well-established hardware business.
