Leading Silicon Valley CEOs and venture capitalists to have an interactive session with President of India tomorrow

President of IndiaLeading Silicon Valley CEOs, entrepreneurs, technologists and venture capitalists will have an interactive session with the President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee tomorrow (January 15, 2016) at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Among those expected to participate in the event are Mr. Venktesh Shukla, President, TIE; Mr. Suhas Patil, CEO, Cradle Technologies; Mr. Krishna Yarlagadda, President, Imagination Technologies; Mr. Adil Adi, CEO, World Link; Mr. Adam Neumann, Founder, We Work; Mr. Sarvajana Dwivedi, Co- founder & CEO, Pearl Therapeutics; Mr. Kanwal Rekhi, General Partner, Invent us Capital; Mr. Prakash Bhalerao, Venture Capitalist, Rainbow Enterprises; Mr. KB Chandrashekhar, Chairman & CEO, Jamcracker Inc; Mr. Vinod Dham, Founder, Indo-US Ventures; Mr. Nimish Mehta, CEO, Lumen Data; Mr. Prakash Iyer, Vice President, Trimble Navigation Ltd., Mr. Sarvajit Thakur, Chairman, Enterprise Solutions Inc., Mr. Manu Rekhi, Venture Partner, Inventus Capital and Mr. Raju Indukari, Chairman & CEO, Mtuity. These entrepreneurs have made immense contribution to the emergence and evolution of the high technology knowledge sectors of India and catalyzed job creation through Start-ups, IT, R&D and innovation hub.

The interactive session is being held on the eve of the �Start-up India� initiative to be launched by the Prime Minister on January 16, 2016. The �Start-up India� initiative aims at fostering entrepreneurship and promoting innovation by creating an ecosystem that is conducive for growth of Start-ups. The objective is that India must become a nation of job creators instead of being a nation of job seekers.

The purpose of the interactive session with the President is to reiterate Government of India�s commitment to making India the hub of innovation, design and Start-ups. It is expected that this interaction will bolster the Start-up initiative of Government of India and be of inspiration to the entrepreneurs.
