She is the only one who can save Satiren, but she must find Tokala, the young Chief of the Mavaho’s to help her. Kai is angry at being lied to all her life, so she refuses to help and tries to escape, but an encounter sends her reeling through a gateway onto the desert of Satiren. She is alone, she doesn’t know who she is, the desert heat is burning into her skin and there are only seven days left until Satiren is turned to Darkness.
