Mitsubishi Electric Named to CDP Supplier Engagement Leaderboard

Third top ranking, including climate change and water categories, received in 2020 evaluations

TOKYO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (TOKYO: 6503) announced today that its environmental efforts related to supply chains have earned the company selection to the 2020 �Supplier engagement leaderboard,” the highest ranking in the CDP Supplier Engagement program operated by CDP, an international non-governmental organization that supports environmental disclosure. This is the fourth year in which Mitsubishi Electric has earned a top ranking for excellent actions and strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and climate-change risk throughout its supply chain.

Mitsubishi Electric also received top-rank “A List” designations in two other CDP categories in 2020—Climate Change and Water—as announced on December 9, 2020.
