Once a group chat is initiated, a notification is sent to all the members of the group participating in the chat. A new icon will appear above the user icon of the person who is currently speaking.
The update can be downloaded from the Google Play store and Apple App store.
Few weeks back, Skype also introduced its new group video calling feature for Android, iOS and Windows phone users. The group calling feature from Skype enables users to have a free group video call with up to 25 participants.
