President of India greets people of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania on the occasion of their National Day

The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania on the occasion of their National Day (November 28, 2016).

In a message to His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz, the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, the President has said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, it gives me great pleasure to convey to you, to the Government and to the people of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, greetings and felicitations on the occasion of your National Day.

I am confident that our close ties will be further strengthened in the coming years to the mutual benefit of the peoples of our two countries.

Please accept, Excellency, my good wishes for your personal health and well-being, as well as for the progress and prosperity of the friendly people of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania”.
