Ryan Expands Australian Operations by Hiring Leading Brisbane-Based Tax Director

SYDNEY & BRISBANE, Australia–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#ryanRyan, a leading global tax services and software provider, has announced the expansion of its Australian operations with the appointment of Anthony Harmer, Senior Director of Indirect Tax, located in Brisbane, Queensland. The hiring of Harmer follows significant investment in Australia with other recent strategic hires, two acquisitions, and promotions of existing leaders, further strengthening its capabilities and client service offerings.


Harmer joins Ryan from a global big four accounting firm, with extensive experience and deep technical expertise in Fuel Tax Credits and GST. Shaping and developing new innovative tax solutions, Harmer adds significant value to clients, building deep relationships and demonstrating influence across internal and external stakeholders.
