Storage Made Easy to Exhibit Its Multi-Cloud Media Management & File Acceleration Solution at the Las Vegas 2019 NAB Show

The Enterprise File Fabric for media edition, a multi-cloud media management and file acceleration solution, is used by media and entertainment organizations to accelerate and secure large file transmissions.

London, United Kingdom, April 08, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Storage Made Easy (SME) today announced that they will be presenting their Enterprise File Fabric media edition at the 2019 NAB Show in Las Vegas, the annual trade show produced by the National Association of Broadcaster event for ground-breaking technology. They will be exhibiting at booth number SL10830 together with their partner, ReelData Technologies.

The Enterprise File Fabric for Media and Entertainment is a secure, multi-cloud media management and file acceleration solution that can be deployed on-premises or on-cloud. The multi-cloud solution is being used by a number of media and entertainment companies, one which is a North American broadcaster who broadcasts over 5,000 hours of programming annually on its flagship network alone. Users get streamlined access to data with the fewest possible impediments, while at the same time enforcing effective controls to block unauthorized use of sensitive data.

Transferring large files can be labor intensive and slow. When files are too big to email, unreliable networks, limited disk space, and heterogeneous systems can thwart end users who want to move multi-gigabyte files from one system to another as easily as they move office documents.

The File Fabric solution solves the industry challenge by targeting three areas for large file acceleration:

High speed transfer from primary storage to archive storage and vice-versa.
High speed transfer from desktop to cloud and vice versa.
High speed transfer from cloud to cloud.

Jim Liddle, CEO at Storage Made Easy, said: Unlike other proprietary solutions for file transfer acceleration, the File Fabric not only works from desktop to cloud but also totally on-premises and cloud-to-cloud. It is server based and does not charge on a per usage basis which is essentially a tax on bandwidth that is already owned.

About Storage Made Easy (SME)

Storage Made Easy provides a multi-cloud data management and data protection product called the Enterprise File Fabric that unifies on-premises and on-cloud company storage assets in addition to standalone products that bridge desktop and cloud, such as operating system native cloud drives and cloud explorer applications.

The File Fabric provides cloud-like economics across a company's storage portfolio, unlocking the benefits and cost-efficiency of its data assets whilst providing strict controls and governance for legislative compliance and security concerns such as ransomware attacks. Existing site-based storage infrastructures can be transformed into an on-premises private cloud, delivering a storage-as-a-service model to the company. Local storage can be connected to public clouds, expertly managed by the File Fabric as a unified hybrid cloud storage platform.

The File Fabric solution offers a blanket that companies can privately apply to wrap around all their data: on-premises, within a public cloud, or on a third party software vendors cloud (SharePoint or Salesforce for example). Customers can use the File Fabric for security, encryption and control with a focus on compliance regimes such as GDPR, HIPAA, FERPA and GBLA.

Customers include one of the worlds largest social media companies, and also one of the largest global retailers, in addition to global internet service providers, universities and international government and governmental bodies.

The company is backed by one of the largest alternative asset managers in addition to entrepreneurs in the London market insurance industry, who have previously successfully sold their company to a listed peer.
