Tricor Malaysia Non-Executive Chairman Dr. Veerinderjeet Singh Selected as President of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants

In his role as President of MIA, Dr. Veerinderjeet will lead the organization in regulating, developing, supporting and enhancing the integrity, status and interests of the accountancy profession in Malaysia. Working closely with the ASEAN Federation of Accountants (AFA), and the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), MIA connects its membership of over 36,500 accountants to a wide range of information resources, events, professional development and networking opportunities.

With over 30 years of diverse experience in the fields of accounting, taxation and commerce, Dr. Veerinderjeet has served in the Inland Revenue Department, University of Malaya (as an Associate Professor), Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young (as a Tax Partner/Executive Director) and authored several influential and authoritative tax publications. Dr. Veerinderjeet also sits on the Boards of Malaysian Rating Corporation Berhad, AmBank (M) Berhad and UMW Holdings Berhad. As Chairman of Tricor Malaysia, Dr. Veerinderjeet advises on complex tax advisory, supports business development, mentors executives and serves as an ambassador for Tricor in Malaysia.
