Fashion and Fundraising Merge to Aid Victims of Louisiana Flood

Designs by Linda Turner apparel and accessories company is raising funds to help the victims of the unprecedented flooding in southeast Louisiana.

Governor John Bel Edwards has declared a state of emergency, and the federal government has issued a disaster declaration for parts of Louisiana.

In a fundraising relief effort, clothing company Designs by Linda Turner worked with former Disney artist MJ Peters to provide eight breathtaking works of art that embrace not only the spirit of Louisiana, but the spirit of America.

“Louisiana has had its share of tragedies, including the three law enforcement officers who were killed in Baton Rouge last month,” said Lacey Stephens, president of community outreach for Designs by Linda Turner. “Americans are compassionate and caring people. It’s in our nature to help.”

When you purchase one of eight t-shirt designs, you will send a message of support to the victims of the Louisiana floods. Most importantly, 100% of the net proceeds will go to the victims of the flooding.
All net proceeds will be forwarded to the American Red Cross, which will direct the funds to the families affected.
