Freedom 251: World’s Cheapest Smartphone sold for USD $3.66 – Book Freedom 251 Now

Ringing Bells, a Delhi based company from India is all set to launch their latest 3G Smartphone for just USD $3.66 (Rs.251). This is a 3G enabled Smartphone with 4 inch WVGA IPS Screen powered by 1.3 GHz Quadcore Processor.

At present the product is available only in India. The world had never seen even a featured phone for this price. As per the report this phone is going to change all the sales record on Mobile phones.

Defence Minister Manohar Parrikkar will launch the smartphone ‘Freedom 251’ today in a Special Function held in Delhi.

In terms of Specification the Freedom 251 is powered by a 1.3 Quadcore Processor, there is no details on which processor they are using, looking at the price it will be a low cost Mediatek processor with 1GB of RAM. It comes with an 4 inch WVGA IPS screen and 8GB Internal Memory (ROM). All this is backed by a 1450 mAh Battery.

Camera seems to be very basic, but even this is above expectation for this price point. It comes with 3.2 MP Back Camera and 0.3 MP Front Camera.

In terms of network it supports dual sim with dual standby 3G SIM. It comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.

Booking for Freedom 251 3G Smartphone will open on Thursday 18th Feb, 2016 from 06:00 Hrs and Booking Closes on Sunday 21st Feb, 2016 at 20:00 Hrs.

But you will get the delivery on or before 30th June 2016. so you need to wait for the delivery even after paying Rs.251 or USD $3.66.
