Grand Boulevard in Sandestin Welcomes South Walton Fashion Week

South Walton Fashion Week is back in Destin and Alys Beach with launch parties, runway shows, celebrities and more!

Online PR News � 06-October-2015 – During the week of October 7th through 10th, South Walton Fashion Week (SWFW) will take over Grand Boulevard in Destin, Florida and Alys Beach. Emerging designers from around the country will be debuting their latest collections with almost 100 models walking the Vivo Runway. Designers will be competing for the Emerging Designer of the Year Award. Two models will walk away with Sheila Goode Model of the Year Awards.

The big event kicks off Wednesday at Alys Shoppe in Alys Beach with an official 2015 SWFW Launch Party. Celebrity judges, emerging designers, and runway models will attend the speakeasy-themed party. Grand Boulevard will have a tent set up at North Lawn Park with runway shows beginning on Thursday. Guests can walk the red carpet from 5:30pm to 7pm and fashion shows will be from 7pm to 10pm. There will be drinks and light snacks at the ZT Motors Style Lounge and Bud and Alleys VIP Lounge. The week celebrating high fashion will also include trunk show events, special designer shows, and pop-up shops. Each evening will conclude with a Wine World of Destin after party at 10:30pm.

South Walton Fashion Week is produced by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County, presented by Visit South Walton and Grand Boulevard at Sandestin. The yearly events showcase South Waltons premier clothing boutiques and local designers, feature emerging designers and showcase model talent while benefiting the Educational Giving Program of the Cultural Arts Alliance. VIP tickets are available for exclusive access to VIP lounges and early tent access. Overnight accommodations can be made at local Destin vacation rentals in the vicinity.
