LeEco Le 1s 2nd sale on Flipkart got 95,000 orders in just 20 seconds

LeEco seems to have from a new brand to a popular one in a relatively short time span. The smartphone maker’s second sale of the Le 1s took place today at 12PM and the numbers are impressive. The LeEco Le 1s smartphone that retails for an asking price of Rs 10,999 has sold out once again with 95,000 orders being placed online in just 20 seconds.

As per the company statement the first sale of LeEco Le 1s was on 2nd, Feb 2016 on Flipkart and company managed to sell 70,000 units in just 2 seconds. Miscw.com still double this claim, as company had not imported 70,000 units as on 2nd, Feb, 2016.

With this second flash sale, the company has created three new records – The largest number of orders received in a single flash sale; the shortest ever time for the orders received and the highest presale registration number. LeEco’s international stature, superior technology and selling the product lower than manufacturing cost pricing have contributed immensely to creating these amazing records.

Priced at Rs 10,999, the Le 1s is a dual-SIM phone with support for dual standby and dual 4G connectivity. Le 1s comes with a fingerprint scanner that claims to recognise your fingerprint in 0.15 seconds.

It sports a metal unibody and a 5.5-inch Full HD display. It is 25 percent brighter than the iPhone 6s. The internals include the MediaTek Helio X10 processor clocked at 2.2GHz, coupled with 3GB RAM. It also gets 32GB onboard storage. Measuring 151.1 x 74.2 x 7.5mm, it weighs 169grams.

In terms of camera, it gets 13MP rear and 5MP front-facing cameras. The rear camera features phase detect autofocus (PDAF) technology and f/2.0 aperture that claims to focus in just 0.09 seconds. The device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop that is based on the company’s eUI 5.5. The phone comes with an IR Blaster and a pre-installed Remote Control app. A 3,000mAh battery completes the package.
