Lenovo launched Lenovo ZUK Z1 with Cyanogen OS 12.1 in India

Lenovo today launched Lenovo ZUK Z1 with Cyanogen OS 12.1 in India. The actual name of the Smartphone is ZUK Z1. Lenovo branding it as Lenovo Z1 for the Indian market.

The main highlight of Lenovo Z1 is, this Lenovo Smartphone comes with Cyanogen OS. The Z1 is expected to run Cyanogen OS 12.1 out of the box, which is based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

In terms of Specification ZUK Z1 features a 5.5 inch Full HD screen, and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor. It comes with 3GB RAM and 64GB ROM (Internal Storage). When it comes to camera its also packed with a 13MP SONY IMX214 camera on the rear, and an 8MP front camera. The power house of the phone a huge 4100mAh battery. The other key features of the device include 4G radios, support for Bluetooth, GPS, USB Type-C port, a fingerprint reader and Wi-Fi. Now a days fingerprint reader is a standard feature is many mid range phones.

The Lenovo Z1 is the second Smartphone in India to run Cyanogen OS officially. Till now Micromax Yu-branded smartphones were the only Smartphone which comes with Cyanogen OS officially.
