PM-Kishan Yojana – Employing Mantra Biometric Devices for Registration of Farmers in Bihar

The Central Government has recently launched Pradhan Mantri Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kishan Yojana) to transform the lives of small and marginal farmers in India, by providing them assured monetary support in three installments every year.

Ahmedabad, India, May 02, 2019 –(PR.com)– Under the Scheme, Rs. 6,000 will be given per year to small and marginal farmer families having combined land holding/ownership of up to 2 hectares. The amount will be given in three installments of Rs. 2000 each and transferred directly to the bank account of beneficiaries through Direct Benefit Transfer. DBT program ensures transparency in the process of providing benefits to the farmers and further it will save their time.

The Govt. of India has mandated Online Kishan Registration where the farmers can enroll themselves online to get the benefits of subsidies, grants and compensation under the PM-Kishan Yojana.

The Bihar Government has implemented this scheme and commenced Online Kishan enrollment process for the farmers.
