Royal Enfield has unveiled the Himalayan 750 at the 2026 Milan Motorcycle Show (EICMA), entering the 750cc middleweight capacity segment as the company concludes its 125th anniversary year. The flagship Royal Enfield Himalayan bike introduces a new twin-cylinder engine and a suite of electronic rider aids previously absent from the Chennai-based manufacturer’s lineup.
Following its global reveal in Italy, the Royal Enfield Himalayan bike is scheduled to launch in the Indian market at Motoverse 2026. The new model builds on the company’s adventure motorcycle lineage, combining a high-displacement engine, adjustable suspension, and long-distance touring equipment aimed at riders planning extended highway journeys.
At the center of the Himalayan 750 is a newly developed 743cc parallel-twin engine, derived from the mechanical architecture of Royal Enfield’s existing 650cc twin platform. The motor produces an output of 55 hp (rated between 50 BHP and 55 BHP), giving the bike a substantial performance increase over the single-cylinder Himalayan 450 and existing 650cc twin models.
The motorcycle debuts 11 features appearing on a Royal Enfield for the first time. The electronic suite includes factory-installed cruise control, a traction control system, and an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) that monitors real-time lean angles and vehicle pitch. Additional built-in technology includes a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and an adjustable windscreen to control wind blast at high speeds.
Chassis hardware has also seen major revisions. The bike uses an adjustable Showa suspension setup at both ends, allowing riders to adjust front fork and rear monoshock settings according to luggage weight, road conditions, or passenger load.
Royal Enfield has engineered the Himalayan 750 to serve primarily as a heavy-duty long-distance travel bike rather than a lightweight off-road enduro machine. The geometry and ergonomics have been optimized for multi-day highway travel, combining long suspension travel with an upright riding posture and a wide dual seat.
The motorcycle will be offered in five distinct color options when sales begin. It retains signature Himalayan design cues such as wire-spoked wheels, raised front mudguard, and dual-purpose tires, but features a broader fuel tank and wider bodywork to accommodate the larger 743cc parallel-twin engine. The inclusion of an adjustable windscreen and cruise control as standard equipment reinforces its focus on cross-country touring for buyers seeking an upgraded Royal Enfield Himalayan bike experience.
Royal Enfield has priced the Himalayan 750 starting from 7,390 euros in Italy. Prices for the Indian market will be announced during its official commercial launch at Motoverse 2026, where order books and delivery schedules for domestic buyers will be confirmed.
The unveiling of the Himalayan 750 was part of a major display by Royal Enfield at EICMA 2026 in Milan, where several new adventure and middleweight bikes were highlighted, including the Hero Xpulse 421.
Alongside the Himalayan 750 adventure model, Royal Enfield revealed the Continental GT 750 cafe racer, which uses the same 743cc parallel-twin engine. The display also featured the Flying Flea S6 electric scrambler, a limited-edition Shotgun 650, and the brand’s new 1901 apparel collection as Royal Enfield wrapped up its 125th anniversary celebrations.
