Skyline Exhibits Introduces Premium Backlit Fabric Graphics

New Splendora Fabric and Proven Printing Process Combine to Create Exhibit Industrys Best Backlit Graphics

Online PR News � 12-June-2016 – Skyline Exhibits just raised the bar for quality and appearance in backlit fabric graphics. Skyline recently introduced its new Splendora Fabric which, along with its dye-sublimation printing technology, provides rich, saturated colors and true blacks even when backlit.

“Due to their light weight and compact pack ability, fabric graphics have become a popular option in trade show and event marketing applications,” stated Sofia Troutman, Customer Engagement and Industry Relations Manager for Skyline Exhibits. “But even the best fabrics would ‘wash out’ to some extent when backlit. Splendora takes the visual appeal of backlighting and the impact it provides to a new even richer level.”

Skyline produces all Splendora fabric graphics in-house using a strict color management process and digital printing, which is followed by a dye-sublimation process that infuses the print directly into fabric through high heat and pressure. The results provide intense and accurate colors.

Competing exhibit providers may offer vibrant graphics using the ultra-violet (UV) process, but UV graphics cannot be folded for packing without damaging the print and, unlike Splendora, they cannot be washed or dry-cleaned. Additionally, they are easily scratched over time.

Skyline will continue to use alternate fabrics for front-lit graphics, but will use Splendora for backlit graphics on its Envoy, PictureCube and SkyRise exhibit systems to name a few.

“There is a slight price increase for Splendora compared to other fabrics,” added Troutman. “But clients are already telling us that it is well worth it for the brand impact it creates.”
