We had an article last week regarding the MIUI updates for MI3 and MI4 titled Double Promotion: Mi4 getting Official MIUI based on Android M (Marshmallow).

All Xiaomi users were expecting to get the MIUI 7 based on the Android 6 update today, but unfortunately the update is not yet released to public. Even if Xiaomi had not officially released it, the update got leaked.
