Top Malayalam and Tamil Actor Kalabhavan Mani Passed away in Cochin

Actor Kalabhavan ManiTop Malayalam and Tamil Actor Kalabhavan Mani Passed away today (at 7:15 PM) in a Private hospital in Cochin. For last 2 days he was admitted in a private hospital in Cochin due to liver related problems. The actor was undergoing treatment for liver and kidney related diseases. He died at age of 45. Today afternoon there were unconfirmed reports that he was in a serious condition and on a ventilator.

He won a special jury award at the National Film Awards and Kerala State Film Awards in 2000 for his performance in Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njaanum (1999).

Kalabhavan Mani started his career as a comedian and later he done many villain characters.

Kalabhavan Mani is an Indian actor and singer. He began his career in Malayalam film industry, and later in the Tamil and Telugu industry, especially in villain roles. He has won National Film Awards and Kerala state film award in 1999 for Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njaanum He died on 6-3-2016.

Mani is married to Veterinary physician Dr.Nimmy on 22 September 2000 and has a daughter, Sree Lakshmy!. He was once an autorickshaw driver from Chalakudy.

He started his career as a mimicry artist in Kalabhavan, Kochi. He started his acting career in the Malayalam film Aksharam as an auto rickshaw driver. He has acted in more than 200 films in Malayalam.
